About Us

The charity Parents and Friends of the Eric Robert’s Centre was formed in 1995,  to provide support for people with learning difficulties attending the Eric Robert’s Centre, an in house county service.

The Eric Robert’s Centre closed, so we have changed our name to Learning Disability Cannock  as it better identifies us with the local area and our purpose. Our current aims set out below have also changed to reflect this.

Our Purpose

To provide social and leisure activities for people with learning difficulties living in Cannock and the surrounding area.

Our Aims

  • To promote the relief of those persons with learning disabilities/special needs in the Cannock Chase and surrounding area.
  • To undertake any other charitable purposes for the benefit of persons with learning disabilities/special needs in the Cannock Chase and surrounding area.

The site is being developed and over time we hope to be a source of information on what’s available in and around the Cannock Chase area for people with learning disabilities and their families.
